About PHMI

The Public Housing Management Institute (PHMI) is a small, primarily volunteer effort to provide professional development support to executives in the field of public housing. The publications, books, training, and consulting provided through PHMI are dedicated to the development of a sound knowledge base and professionally credible experience exchange in the belief that the public housing program is the most cost effective and efficient means for providing sound,safe,supported housing for the population unable to compete for shelter in the private marketplace.
